Rolling Stones, arriva l’inedito “Doom And Gloom” da “GRRR!”

Disponibile da domani 11 Ottobre 2012 “Doom and Gloom”, brano inedito dei Rolling Stones tratto dal greatest hits “GRRR!” atteso nel mercato discografico tra un mese, il 12 Novembre. Un vulcano in attività che proprio non ha voglia di lasciare spazio alle giovani band costrette a vivere all’ombra dei grandi miti in un periodo di reunion e amarcord che conta (in questo caso) un nome: Rolling Stones. Il brano inedito (l’altro è intitolato “One Last Shot”) sarà trasmesso in esclusiva da domattina sul canale BBC Radio2 e contemporaneamente sarà disponibile per l’acquisto tramite la piattaforma iTunes, in linea con le attuali politiche commerciali che trascinano un po’ tutti sulla stessa strada.

Il brano è prodotto da Don Was (che ha già lavorato con la band in altri album come “Voodoo Lounge”, “Stripped”, “Bridges To Babylon”, “Live Licks”, “A Bigger Bang”), mixato da Jeff Bhasker, è stato registrato questa estate durante la permanenza dei Rolling Stones nello studio di registrazione parigino, che ha visto Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ron Wood e Charlie Watts riuniti dopo ben 7 anni, dopo cioè l’ultimo album (e tour compreso) “A Bigger Bang”. Nel frattempo, di pochi giorni fa la notizia circa alcuni concerti che le pietre rotolanti dovrebbero tenere tra Londra e New York (la notizia è impazzata nel web dopo l’intervista concessa da Keith Richards alla testata britannica Q) il prossimo Novembre ma al momento nulla di confermato, solo voci di corridoio. Ma l’esperienza comunque insegna che queste voci un fondo di verità ce l’hanno sempre, tant’è vero che sarebbe già stata scelta la location dei concerti londinesi che si traduce nel nome della celebre O2 Arena.
