Grammy Awards 2017, pioggia di premi per Adele e David Bowie

La 59esima edizione dei Grammy Awards 2017 si è tenuta domenica scorsa ed è stata presentata da James Corden. A fare la parte del leone sono stati Adele e David Bowie.

Durante la serata  il cantante inglese, scomparso l’anno scorso, ha vinto quattro premi postumi (Best Alternative Music Album, Best Rock Performance, Best Engineered Album Non-Classical, Best Recording Package) e la cantante Adele ne ha vinti ben sette, eseguendo dal vivo “Hello” e un ricordo di George Michael dove, con la voce rotta dall’emozione, si è dovuta fermare dicendo “mi spiace, non ce la faccio.

Nella stessa serata Adele, ricevendo il premio come Album of the Year, Adele si è anche lamentata di come il premio non lo abbia vinto Beyoncè con il suo “Lemonade“, chiedendosi cosa altro debba fare la cantante americana per vincere questo premio. Bruno Mars ha invece eseguito la sua canzone “That’s What I Like” ed ha tributato la performance a Prince, mentre Katy Perry ha cantato “Chained To The Rhythm” durante una performance anti-Trump. Contro il presidente americano si è anche scagliato Busta Rhymes con la sua esibizione insieme agli A Tribe Called Quest.

Altre esibizioni della serata hanno visto una spaziale Beyoncé, The Weeknd e Daft Punk cantare la loro “I Feel It Coming“, Ed Sheeran ha canto il suo ultimo singolo “Shape Of You” e Lady Gaga e i Metallica hanno cantato insieme “Moth in Flames“.
