È già uscito “Aeronaut“, il primo singolo del nuovo disco di Billy Corgan, che uscirà ufficialmente il prossimo 13 ottobre.
Il titolo è “Ogilala” e l’album è prodotto da Rick Rubin, potete trovare la tracklist completa in fondo all’articolo. Il frontman degli Smashing Pumpkins ha già lavorato a diversi progetti da solista ma per la prima volta si firma con il suo vero nome, William Patrick. Inoltre “Ogilala” segna la continuazione di un lavoro già iniziato con “TheFutureEmbrace“, il suo primo progetto da solista, uscito 12 anni fa. “Le canzoni di Ogilala non avevano bisogno di abiti sfarzosi” ha dichiarato l’artista e già all’ascolto di “Aeronaut” si può notare quale sia stata la scelta di Corgan, che aveva già spiegato: “ho scritto tutte le canzoni per voce e chitarra, ho lasciato a Rick la responsabilità di tirare fuori il disco da alcune performance live“.
