Sono stati assegnati i  Grammy Awards 2016, la cerimonia più importante del mondo della musica tenutasi a Los Angeles il 15 Febbraio 2016. Regina della serata è stata Lady Gaga, con un omaggio al grande David Bowie ed una performance in puro stile Miss Germanotta, tra capelli color carota, abito bianco e sbrilluccichii in ogni dove. “Space Oddity”, “Changes”, “Ziggy Stardust”, “Suffragette”, “Rebel Rebel”, “Fashion”, “Fame”, “Let’s Dance” e “Heroes” i brani inseriti nel medley celebrativo cantato dalla pop star più stravagante del momento, in compagna di Nile Rodgers compagno musicale del duca bianco.

Una serata quella dei Grammy Awards 2016 che ha meravigliato tanti, dai premi a Taylor Swift, alla steccata clamorosa di Adele causata da problemi tecnici passando per esibizioni importanti e premi che hanno consolidato ulteriormente alcuni colossi della discografia musicale attuale. Posizionata tra i generi country e pop Taylor Swift è la prima donna ad essersi aggiudicata per due anni di fila il grammofono come “Best Pop Vocal Album“, importante il discorso tenuto dopo la premiazione con una dedica speciale al femminile, un chiaro riferimento a chi calpesta continuamente la carriera musicale altrui volendosi appropriare di meriti che in realtà non avrebbe ( piccola polemica a Kanye West).
“Song of The Year” Ed Sheeran, e premio come “Record of the year” a Bruno Mars e Mark Ronson per il formidabile “Uptown Funk”.

Fa notizia l’assenza di Rihanna che ha comunicato in ultima battuta l’annullamento della sua performance causa piccoli malesseri.

A rubare una scena quasi tutta al femminile è però Kendrick Lamar giunto ai Grammy Awards 2016 con ben undici nomination, protagonista della scena rap degli ultimi anni
