I Rolling Stones non smettono di stupire i loro fan e li hanno sorpresi rilasciando un nuovo singolo.
Sebbene siano stati attivissimi per tutto questo tempo, gli Stones non rilasciavano un brano inedito ormai dal 2012. Allora erano usciti “Doom and Gloom” e “One more shot“, insieriti nella raccolta “GRRR!“, mentre nel 2016 hanno pubblicato l’apprezzatissima raccolta di cover blues “Blue and lonesome“. Dopo aver deliziato i fan con “You can’t always get what you want”, suonata a distanza durante questo periodo di lockdown per il concerto One World Together At Home, il gruppo ha deciso di rilasciare un nuovo brano. Si tratta di “Living in a ghost town“, che suona tremendamente attuale ma, come ha spiegato Mick Jagger, in realtà è stato scritto un anno fa, in dieci minuti. Registrato a Londra e Los Angeles, il brano è stato poi completato in quest’ultima fase con i membri del gruppo in isolamento e rilasciato in queste ore, potete ascoltarlo qui sotto.
